5Bike is a great buy
By Andrea E Menzies
The Columba 26 inch folding bike is a great buy! I had tried smaller folding bikes in the past, and did not like them. A travel bike seemed like a great idea. Unfortunately, wheels that are too small don't move very well. You feel like a Shriner clown on a tiny bike. Yet the mountain bike styling and 26 inch wheels of the Columba make it move like a non-folding bike. The gears shift, the breaks hold, and the wheels turn in a smoother manor to my last store bought bike. The ultra light weight frame is great for travel on buses, or for travel in airports as luggage. This is worth the little extra cash to get a better bike. I ride it to the bus stop and school ten miles a week. For the last month I have had no problems. It is working great! I want to buy ones for the rest of my family.

2Buyer's Remorse, Heavy Weight Makes Bike Impractical
By Daniel Orr
I read the positive reviews and bought this bike several months ago. The Columba rides reasonably well, except for some stiffness in shifting and occasional rattling. The bike does not fold nearly as well as the pictures suggest. Note the handle bars have been removed in the pictures. These get in the way in folding the real thing, and prevent it from being truly compact. Moreover, many benefits of folding are outweighed by the bike's relatively heavy weight (37 lbs.). This makes folding and storage cumbersome. It also makes bringing the bike anywhere to ride it difficult. You definitely feel the extra weight on a ride. Plus like many people, I live in a building with a small foyer between two exterior doors. I can carry most bikes out with one hand and without worry about breaking the rail on a door. This one is so bulky, I have to set it down and prop the doors open. In hindsight, I wish I had bought a better, lighter non-folding bike for about the same cost. A smaller, lighter folding bike with fewer gears would also have been a better choice for the money.

4Love It!!!!!
By Kerly Quintanilha
After looking and reading so much about folding bikes i took my decision, I got the Columba 26" SP26S, first I ordered it in gray, the amazon page showed me that they had 4 in stock, well it wasnt true, i received an email saying that they just had it in Blk and yellow, not too happy about it but with no choice left i got in Blk, delivery was very fast something that i was very happy about, and when i opened the box i was very impressed the bike it self looks much better made and looks really beautiful,I just couldnt put together (the instructions sucks)but i went to the bike shop and for $60 they put the bike together, and regulation on brakes all the blablablas to take your money. the only thing i have to change on it is the seat, it is so hard that half a hour on it makes you dislike all the ride, but nothing that would make me change my mind, the bike it is a great buy and i am planing to buy a second one for my 17 years old son.
